Water Infrastructure Engineer

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Water Infrastructure Engineer to join our Water Team in Alexandria, Virginia. Responsibilities include assisting in the planning, design, and production of engineering drawings for water and/or wastewater infrastructure projects, supervising drawing production, preparing and assembling specifications, conducting engineering investigations and planning work, performing routine calculations, preparing report sections, reviewing shop drawings for construction projects, assisting in recordkeeping and progress reports, collecting samples for quality control, preparing materials for reports and permit applications, performing engineering calculations and field observations, and other duties as assigned. Qualifications include 2-5 years of professional experience in civil water infrastructure engineering, a Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited college/university, basic computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, preferred experience with AutoCAD, Excel, and Power BI, and preferred Engineer-In-Training certification.
