About the role - Direct Operational Support (sUAS)
- The DOS position is an operational role supporting OCONUS requirements
- 50% travel required
- Successful candidates will become lead instructors for students employing sUAS in operational roles

What you'll do
- Subject Matter Expert on sUAS, C-UAS, and their employment in small & large unit tactics, with a focus on Group 1-3 platforms
- POI development for OCONUS partners, execution of program curriculum for students abroad
- Teach sUAS operations for students engaged in surveillance & reconnaissance utilizing tiered sUAS platforms, to include:
- The basics of sUAS operations, flight
- Airspace deconfliction
- Platform selection, from nano to Group 3
- Operational TTP training, honing, and student testing
- Student POI deliverables & certification
- Course reporting & syllabus maintenance
Qualifications
- US citizenship (required)
- FSP eligibility for sensitive programs (required)
- sUAS operational experience (Groups 1-3) in a combat arms or SOF unit (required)
- FAA Part 107 certification (required)
- 50% overseas travel OCONUS, with possible surges (required)
- POI development, maintenance experience (required)
- Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience, required)
- Strong interpersonal skills, knowledge of foreign languages (highly desired)
- Air Operations experience (highly desired)
- Knowledge of small unit tactics, techniques, and procedures (highly desired)
- Global travel experience as a singleton or part of a small, highly technical team (highly desired)
- C-UAS knowledge & red-cell experience (highly desired)
