Our team owns and operates properties across multiple markets and asset types, leveraging a collaborative and performance-driven culture.   Position Summary The Make-Ready Technician is responsible for preparing vacant apartment homes for new residents by completing maintenance, repairs, and cosmetic improvements to company standards. This role plays a critical part in ensuring apartments are move-in ready on schedule and that every resident’s first impression of their home is a positive one. The Make-Ready Technician works closely with the Maintenance and Property Management teams and may assist with general maintenance needs across the property as required.   Work Arrangement Location: Onsite / Manchester Lakes / Alexandria, VA Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM On-Call / Weekends: Occasional, based on business needs   Key Responsibilities Complete apartment turnover (make-ready) work, including painting, surface repairs, fixture replacement, appliance testing, HVAC filter changes, flooring and carpet touch-ups, and general cleaning Ensure apartments meet company quality and safety standards prior to move-in Support the maintenance team with ongoing repairs, preventative maintenance, and property upkeep as needed Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with company and industry safety standards Interact professionally and courteously with residents and team members while working throughout the community   Career Path & Next Role Readiness The Make Ready Technician role is intentionally designed as a pathway to the Maintenance Technician role.
