The Joint, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Interagency Division (JOID) provides expert support services to a range of customers spanning across the Department of Defense, Federal Civilian, and international markets. JOID provides a diverse portfolio of analytical and programmatic capabilities to help our customers make informed decisions on their most challenging issues.

 

The Industry and Security Analysis Group (ISAG) within JOID provides analytical, technical, and program support to promote, grow, and protect the defense industrial base (DIB). ISAG’s support spans DOD, Federal Agencies, and International Partners to deliver critical decision support to national security leaders. Our team informs policy decisions, enables execution of comprehensive strategies and monitors and reports on the effectiveness of implementation, which enables senior leaders to execute strategies for developing and sustaining a robust industrial base. From policy to practice, we are a team of economic and national security professionals providing innovative solutions for the most pressing security challenges.

 

We have an upcoming need for a National Security Compliance Analyst to provide onsite support at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA or the Mark Center in Alexandria, VA.


Responsibilities

ISAG has a need for an experienced legal expert to support DoD’s input into both the CFIUS and Team Telecom processes. The candidate will support DoD’s Global Investment and Economic Security Office in the development of risk mitigation options and the monitoring and compliance of Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) mitigation agreements. Will support the review of mitigation compliance, which may involve domestic and international travel. The candidate will develop and maintain standard operating procedures for the mitigation of foreign investment risk in the areas of product integrity, supply assurance, collocation, and technology transfer.

 

Expected travel up to ~20%. 


Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in the areas of Business, Finance, Economics, or National Security.
  • 5+ years of total experience with 3+ years in matters involving compliance and monitoring.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Able to work fully onsite based on client needs.

Desired:

  • Experience in revenue recognition, technology transfer, Intellectual Property ownership, product integrity, and supply assurance.
  • Military law background or Juris Doctor (JD) degree
  • Master's degree in the areas of Business, Finance, Economics, or National Security.
