Requirements Manager, Senior

The Opportunity: 

Booz Allen is looking for a Requirements Manager with experience working hand in hand with clients to develop impactful solutions. In this role you will manage the requirements process, learn and understand the system’s data, technology, and business rules. Your combination of people skills and technical knowledge provides the perfect combination to help clients define requirements, identify needed system improvements, and overcome their most difficult challenges to achieve complete and accurate systems.

On our team, you’ll develop and maintain a process to document user stories, systems requirements and change management in an agile environment. Partnering with our varied team of developers, and testers, you’ll identify clients’ mission needs, gather user requirements, develop user stories and document acceptance criteria. You’ll help make sure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. You’ll also understand the business and user needs clearly to be a key team member who helps fulfill these needs by creating deployable features. If you’re looking for the chance to drive the requirements of an evolving system, we need you on our team.

What You'll Work On:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit and document business requirements and translate them for technical teams.

  • Design, develop, and modify User Stories for a public facing web application.

  • Analyze information to identify, plan, and design enhancements and modifications to an existing application.

  • Transform collected information into organized Jira Issues.

  • Collaborate with project manager to maintain Jira backlog and sprint plan.

You Have: 

  • 4+ years of experience developing requirements for software applications through the full software development lifecycle

  • 4+ years of experience with Atlassian products including Jira and Confluence

  • 4+ years of experience with organizing Epics, User Personas, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, or Assumptions and Dependencies

  • 4+ years of experience working with stakeholders to elicit and document business requirements and translate them for technical teams

  • 4+ years of experience in change management processing

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or an analytical, scientific, or technical field

Nice If You Have: 

  • Experience presenting to client teams

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
