Position Summary

The SharePoint Administrator provides technical and analytical support to the Washington Headquarters Services (WHS), Facilities Services Directorate (FSD). This role is responsible for administering, maintaining, and enhancing SharePoint environments; developing dashboards and reports; and supporting data analysis and reporting to enable operational visibility and informed decision-making. The SharePoint Administrator collaborates closely with program staff, technical teams, and government stakeholders to support WHS/FSD mission objectives.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Administer, configure, and maintain SharePoint sites, libraries, permissions, and workflows supporting WHS/FSD programs and operations.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI and/or other analytical tools.
  • Analyze operational and program data to support performance tracking, reporting requirements, and leadership decision-making.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, briefings, and presentation materials for program management and government stakeholders.
  • Maintain SharePoint documentation, guidance, and standard operating procedures to ensure consistent usage and data integrity.
  • Collaborate with program staff, technical teams, and stakeholders to support effective information sharing and reporting practices.
  • Troubleshoot SharePoint, reporting, and data issues and recommend practical solutions.
  • Use Microsoft 365 tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams) to support collaboration, reporting, and documentation.
  • Review data products and reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable standards.
  • Provide technical and analytical support to program and project leads.
  • Perform other duties as required in support of the WHS/FSD mission.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in SharePoint administration and development.
  • Hands-on experience developing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
  • Experience with data analysis, reporting, and performance metrics.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including SharePoint and Power BI.
  • Experience supporting federal government or large enterprise environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, professional reports and presentations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment.

  • Qlik Certification

 

Citizenship and Security Clearance

  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • An active Secret Security Clearance is required.

 

Work Environment

  • Primary duty location is the Pentagon (WHS/FSD) in Arlington, VA.
  • Work is performed in a professional office environment with onsite collaboration.
