REPORTS TO: Head of Wealth Management


JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Summary/Objective

This position is primarily responsible for supporting the business management activities of the Wealth Management leadership team. This position will report to the Head of Wealth Management and support key functions related to sales and service.


Essential Functions

  • Serve as office manager for the Wealth Management department
  • Completion of tasks related to internal and external communication.
  • Gathering and reporting information relevant to business performance
  • Coordinating internal meetings and external events.



Other Duties

  • Help the professional staff cultivate and grow client relationships by preparing financial plans and presentations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Skills/Abilities

  • Must be familiar with the needs of the office including MS Office, mail management, time-card oversight, supplies and equipment, vendor coordination, etc.
  • Requires the ability to interact with high net-worth clients and collaborate with the team regarding various aspects of business management. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills. 
  • Computer literacy required, with an emphasis on using spreadsheet applications along with the ability to learn and develop proficiency using new programs (e.g., financial research, document imaging and other proprietary applications).


Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no supervisory responsibilities


Work Environment

This job operates in an office setting, the opportunity to telework is not available. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Office environment with job duties conducted via telephone, face to face meetings, and on the computer. 

 

Physical Demands

This position requires manual dexterity, the ability to lift files and opening cabinets. This position requires bending, stooping or standing as necessary

 

Travel

Local travel may be required for this position.


For Applicants located in Northern Viriginia (VA): The pay range for this position is $22.00 per hour to $30.00 per hour. Other compensation includes overtime paid at one and one-half times the normal hourly rate for any hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week.

The ranges listed for Viriginia and/or Maryland represent the good-faith compensation the Company reasonably expects to pay for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, education, certifications, internal equity, and business needs. This position may also be eligible for additional compensation, such as bonuses or incentive pay, where applicable.


Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Familiarity with financial services preferred.
  • College degree preferred.
