Overview

The Human Resources Coordinator is a key member of MPR鈥檚 Human Resources team and will serve as a primary point of contact for employees who need general support. We are a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment. This individual will have the opportunity to work across the organization to provide support and grow their expertise in several functional areas: recruiting and onboarding, training and development, benefits administration, employee engagement, HRIS administration, and HR operations.

In this role, you will help keep HR processes organized, accurate, compliant, and employee focused. You will work closely with external and internal teams to support a smooth employee experience from offer acceptance through the full employee lifecycle. This position is a strong fit for someone who enjoys organization, technology, customer service, process improvement, and learning how human resources operates in a professional services and federal contractor environment.

This position is a great opportunity for an individual that wants to experience all areas of human resources and develop into a generalist. The ideal candidate will have a high degree of confidentiality, accuracy, independent judgment, and initiative.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Recruiting: Assist with developing job descriptions, scheduling interviews and compiling interview packages, supporting the campus recruiting program, as well as coordinating candidate travel.
  • Onboarding: Support all aspects of onboarding for all employees, including documentation processing, orientation planning, and coordination of arrival logistics with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Training and Development: Coordinate training and maintain records in the learning management system.
  • Benefits: Support and assist with the administration of benefit programs.
  • Employee Engagement: Partner with the team to plan and execute employee morale events and other corporate-sponsored activities throughout the year.
  • Policies/Compliance: Assist in maintaining policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
  • HR Operations: Provide general administrative support, including assisting with the maintenance of files, updating information in systems, maintaining spreadsheets, and updating forms and departmental lists.

Qualifications

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Bachelor鈥檚 degree in human resources, business administration, or related field preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Two (2) to four (4) years of human resources and/or administrative experience with an interest in a career in human resources preferred.

Skills

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Experience with a Human Resources Information System or Applicant Tracking System preferred.
