What You’ll Do:

As an Underwriting Intern, you'll get hands-on experience and valuable exposure to a variety of Political Risk insurance products. You’ll be guided by industry experts, helping evaluate risk, craft policies, and make strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Risk Assessment and Analysis: Assist in evaluating financial statements, credit reports, and industry trends to assess the risk profiles of potential clients.
  • Underwriting Assistance: Support underwriting for new and renewal business in Political Risk insurance, helping determine coverage terms and conditions.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Dive into reports, analyze industry data, and learn how political and financial insights influence underwriting strategies.
  • Collaborate with Experts: Work closely with teams in claims, legal, and finance to develop a well-rounded understanding of underwriting challenges and solutions.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and gain the knowledge needed to build a successful career in underwriting.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Pursuing a degree and/or strong interest in Risk Management, Political Risk, International Relations, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for understanding financial data.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Eagerness to learn and tackle challenges head-on.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Hybrid Schedule: Minimum 3 days in the office per week
