The Squad Captain oversees the day-to-day processes of their squad, ensuring that work is completed accurately and efficiently. As a role model to squad members, the ideal Squad Captain will lead reliably and ethically, maintain a positive and contagious attitude, and uphold the values and standards set by the company.   The ideal candidate is collaborative, adaptable, and highly organized, with strong interpersonal communication, conflict resolution, and motivational skills. They are discreet, tactful, and proactive in building and maintaining effective working relationships across teams. They thrive in a demanding, fast-paced, and evolving environment and can communicate effectively at all levels of the organization while supporting operational goals and continuous improvement initiatives.    Responsibilities/Duties   Uphold COMC values, quality standards, and exemplify C.A.R.D. culture.  Be a willing and collaborative partner in supporting all areas of the organization.  Maintain a high level of confidentiality.  Perform other duties as assigned.  Continue to handle the responsibilities outlined in the Listing Generalist or Listing Specialist role, as applicable.  Gain experience in, and provide redundancy for, the following areas:  Production Understand and execute departmental priorities and SLAs, ensuring goals are consistently met while proactively communicating risks or obstacles to leadership.  Consistently meet agreed-upon deadlines for weekly and monthly reporting.  Create, maintain, evaluate, and improve squad metrics and standards, recognizing the need for ongoing process evolution and operational efficiency.  Coach team members on proper card handling techniques and production expectations to support quality and productivity goals.  Explore opportunities for innovation and collaborate with leadership on process improvements that align with COMC values and operational objectives.  Resolve issues reported by squad members in a timely, professional, and effective manner.  Support the implementation of new or updated policies, procedures, and operational processes.  Ensure all inventory and cards are handled and processed securely and accurately.  Squad Management Build and maintain a cohesive, engaged, and collaborative squad culture.  Communicate effectively and professionally with squad members, peers, and leadership.  Invest in squad development to support engagement, morale, and long-term success.  Prepare for and facilitate daily huddles and team communications.  Conduct regular one-on-ones and provide timely, constructive, and positive feedback.  Partner with leadership to identify and support professional development opportunities for squad members.  Address performance and disciplinary matters professionally, consistently, and in a timely manner.  Review and approve timesheets accurately and on schedule.  Support training, retraining, and onboarding initiatives for squad members.  Leadership Assist with interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training activities as needed.  Provide support to other squads, Squad Captains, and leadership teams as business needs require.  Be available to work extended, alternate, or weekend hours when operational needs arise. QualificationsSkills/Knowledge/Abilities   Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.  Comfortable using computers and standard software, including Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Teams, and Excel.  Ability to learn new systems, tools, and procedures quickly.  Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced operational environment.  Demonstrates reliability, accountability, professionalism, and a proactive team-oriented mindset.  Ability to motivate, coach, and support team members effectively.   Education & Experience   High School Diploma or GED required; additional education is a plus.  Experience in production, operations, fulfillment, warehouse, or trading card-related environments required.  Experience using Microsoft Office and related workplace communication tools preferred.
