Field Supervisor

Job Summary:
This position supervises independent technicians in the field using a company provided vehicle.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for and knowledgeable in the correct, safe, and efficient locating of underground utilities including telecommunications, electric power, cable TV, gas, water and sewer systems
• Adept at supervising and instructing technicians in thoroughly searching for underground utilities in a designated area, properly marking the location, completing the necessary paperwork, and photographing each locate
• Comfortable working outdoors in all types of weather conditions and using a company provided laptop and/or tablet to document services and problems
• Experienced at working directly with customers and resolving problems in a professional manner
• Enthusiastic, self-motivated, safety conscious, and independent

Basic Qualifications:

• 1 years of experience as a utility locator required.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license.
• Clean driving record.

Position Requirements:

• Experience with various brands of locating equipment.
• Working experience of underground construction and fiber builds.
• City, County and State clearance code knowledge and related.
• Willing to work outdoors in all types of weather and work overtime as required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong command of the English language is required

Salary Range:
$60,000 to $80,000
