The Project Manager I is responsible for managing day-to-day project activities and supporting operational goals within UniTek Global Services. This role focuses on coordinating technicians, maintaining customer satisfaction, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Key Responsibilities Â
Â
Project Coordination:Â
- Oversee daily operations and technician scheduling.Â
- Ensure adherence to company policies regarding safety, assets, and production.Â
Customer Service & Communication:Â
- Provide exemplary customer service to DirecTV, corporate leadership, and field teams.Â
- Deliver regular status updates and manage scope changes for assigned projects.Â
Financial & Reporting Duties:Â
- Monitor project financials and prepare reports for management.Â
- Assist in budgeting and cost control for assigned projects.Â
Team Support:Â
- Motivate and maintain technician morale.Â
- Train and mentor team members on proper work and safety procedures.Â
Issue Resolution:Â
- Troubleshoot technical, personnel, and project-related challenges.Â
- Collaborate with senior management to define scope for larger projects and rollouts.Â
Other Duties:Â
- Perform customer follow-up on inquiries and completed projects.Â
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by leadership.Â

Salary Range:
$60,000 to $80,000

- Education:Â
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Â
- PMP or CAPM certification preferred.Â

- Experience:Â
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience.Â
- Strong written and verbal communication skillsÂ
- Â
- Technical Skills:Â
- Knowledge of telecommunications, VoIP, satellite systems, routers, networking, and cabling.Â
- Experience with telecommunication dispatching and managing multiple projects.Â
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.Â
