Job Description

We are looking for an Office Assistant to help with the organization and running of the daily administrative operations of the company. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working, team-oriented professional able to undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results.

Office hours are 8:30 AM-5:30 PM Mon-Fri.

Responsibilities

路 Organize office and assist associates in ways that optimize procedures

路 Sort and distribute communications in a timely manner

路 Create and update records ensuring accuracy and validity of information

路 Schedule and plan meetings and appointments

路 Monitor level of supplies and handle shortages

路 Resolve office-related malfunctions and respond to requests or issues

路 Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with established policies

路 Perform standard receptionist duties

路 File documentation appropriately

路 Maintain cleanliness of office space

路 Must be a flexible team player willing to help wherever needed

路 Ensure office is shut down and restocked properly at the end of the day

Skills

路 Proven experience as a back-office assistant, office assistant, or in another relevant administrative role

路 Thorough understanding of office management procedures

路 Excellent organizational and time management skills

路 Must be a problem-solver

路 Excellent written and verbal communication skills

路 Proficiency in MS Office
