RxSight® is an ophthalmic medical technology corporation headquartered in Aliso Viejo, California that has commercialized the world’s first and only adjustable intraocular lens (IOL) that is customized after cataract surgery. OVERVIEW:

The Product Marketing Manager, HCP will lead healthcare professional (HCP)–focused product marketing strategy for the Light Adjustable Lens (LAL) portfolio. This role is responsible for driving differentiated positioning, centralizing competitive intelligence, and delivering sales-ready messaging that accelerates surgeon adoption, OD alignment, and revenue growth.

This individual will serve as the commercial bridge between Professional Education, Sales, Clinical, and Marketing teams to ensure product investments translate into measurable market impact. Deep knowledge of the cataract and refractive surgery ecosystem—including surgeon workflow, OD co-management, premium conversion dynamics, and the cataract patient journey—is essential.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Product Positioning & Strategy

  • Own and evolve differentiated positioning for LAL within the premium IOL market.
  • Develop clear value propositions tailored to cataract surgeons, refractive surgeons, and OD partners.
  • Translate clinical data and outcomes into compelling commercial messaging.
  • Ensure consistent messaging across field, digital, congress, and promotional materials.

Competitive Intelligence

  • Centralize competitive insights across premium IOL technologies and refractive solutions.
  • Develop and maintain competitive analysis, objection-handling tools, and market landscape summaries.
  • Monitor shifts in surgeon preference, adoption trends, and competitive strategies.
  • Partner with Sales to capture field feedback and refine positioning.

Sales Enablement

  • Create and maintain sales-ready tools, including:
  • Core messaging decks
  • Economic value narratives
  • Practice growth frameworks
  • Objection-handling guides
  • Support field training on competitive differentiation and value communication.
  • Align messaging to drive premium conversion and utilization growth.

Market & Customer Insight

  • Maintain deep understanding of:
  • Cataract surgery workflow and premium IOL economics
  • Surgeon and OD co-management models
  • The cataract patient decision journey
  • Translate market insights into actionable marketing strategy and content.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate closely with Professional Education, Clinical, and Sales Leadership.
  • Inform product roadmap discussions with market-driven insights.
  • Support global strategy, advisory boards, and KOL engagement as needed.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • 4-6+ years of experience in product marketing, HCP marketing, or product management within ophthalmology or medical device.
  • Direct experience in the cataract or premium IOL space strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience developing competitive strategy and differentiated positioning.
  • Proven ability to translate clinical data into revenue-driving messaging.
  • Experience supporting field sales teams with commercial enablement tools.
  • Salesforce experience required.

Preferred

  • Experience marketing to both MDs and ODs.
  • Experience supporting premium, patient-pay products.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role does not have direct people management responsibility at this time but is expected to lead and coordinate the work of external agency partners and vendors. The role operates with managerial-level ownership, accountability, and influence across assigned programs and channels.


EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and TRAINING:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience HCP focused marketing roles.
  • Experience executing multi-channel campaigns with measurable outcomes.
  • Completion of all required corporate compliance and ethics training per company policy.
  • Training to be completed per the training plan for this position as maintained in the document control system

  • The training requirements on TRN-10007 Insider Trading Policy, TRN-10008 Global Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Policy and TRN-10009 Code of Business Conducts and Ethics must be diligently completed within 30 days from the hiring date and on an annual basis
