YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:

TheAdministrativeAssistantisresponsibleforprovidingadministrativesupporttotheDivisionand/orspecific departmentsasassigned.Thispositionwillprovidegeneralassistancetoalllevelsofstaff. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:  

  • Actasliaisonbetweensupervisorandothers(i.e.,departments,externalcontacts,vendors,clients, etc.). 

  • Providepromptandprofessionalservicetoallinternalandexternalclients. 

  • Preparesanddistributesinternalcommunicationsandservesasacentralclearingpositionfor general information. 

  • Oversee/processday-to-dayadministrativeitems:mail,overnightmail,packages,expensereports, checks, courier services, maintain office supplies, etc. 

  • Performsfiling,typing,datainputandotherclericalsupporttoallotherdepartmentsand personnel, as directed. 

  • Answerinquiriesand/ordirects callstoappropriatestaff,andtakesmessages,asnecessary. 

  • CoordinateandinitiatemeetingsandtravelarrangementsfortheDepartment.Arrangeschedules for management staff. 

  • Maintainsupervisor'scalendar,schedulemeetingsandconferenceroomsforDepartment. 

  • Composeand/oredit/distributeletters,memos,reports,andotherdepartmentalcorrespondence on time. 

  • Providesupportbyphotocopying,filing,andsendingfaxesasneeded. 

  • Pullsandputfilestodeadstorageasrequired. 

  • Thedutiesandresponsibilitiesareintendedtodescribe thegeneralnature andscopeofworkbeing performed by this position. This is not acomplete listing and other duties will be assigned based on the position’s role within the business unit. 

WHAT YOU BRING TO US:  

  • AssociatedegreeinBusinessAdministrationorrelateddiscipline 

  • Minimum2years’ experience in officeadministrativework

  • Workunderpressureandadapttochangingrequirementswithapositiveattitude 

  • Oralandwrittencommunicationskillsasrequiredfortheposition 

  • Self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player

  • Interacteffectivelyandprofessionallywithalllevelsofemployees,bothmanagementand staff alike, vendors, clients, and others

WORKINGCONDITIONS: 

  • Generalworkenvironment–sittingforextended periods, standing,walking,typing,carrying,pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions, such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning.
