The Business Process Consultant is a core member of the McKesson Revenue Cycle Leadership team, routinely partnering with Practice, Network Support and Revenue Cycle (Regional and Central Business Office) stakeholders to assist in the optimization and standardization of network wide Revenue Cycle business processes. Key Responsibilities include partnering with Practice Operations and Revenue Cycle leadership, project champions, and process owners to embrace change management initiatives, operationalize key projects and deliver sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable results; facilitating complex meetings, presentations, and trainings with varied audiences across all levels of business; collaborating with corporate teams to drive innovation on new technologies, payment model initiatives and vital practice management system advancements; supporting system training initiatives and participating in curriculum development; providing support prior to, during, and post practice management system transitions/upgrades, influencing adoption, transformation, and stabilization with a Six Sigma approach; serving as a Revenue Cycle network resource for new business integrations; developing and publishing workflow documentation (Reference Guides, Job Aids, SOPs, etc.); serving as a trusted advisor to members of Practice Operations and Revenue Cycle Leaders; monitoring and communicating the results of process improvement projects/initiatives to management and the Executive Leadership Teams. Minimum requirements include a degree or equivalent and typically 4+ years of relevant experience, experience leading projects and collaborating with stakeholders. Critical skills include subject matter expertise in Revenue Cycle Operations (Patient Facing and Non-Patient Facing), DX Experience as an agent of change and transformation, experience coaching others in process improvement frameworks, excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, process improvement and workflow development experience, data analysis skills, partnership with optimization and quality improvement, ability to work independently, and a consulting and project management mindset. Additional preferred skills include experience working with Athena IDX (Centricity Business) and Centricity Practice (G4), experience with iKnowMed (G2), Six Sigma Certification, and Project Management.
