In this position you will have responsibility for managing a team of Infusion Systems Territory Managers with responsibility for the tactical/operational daily activities of the sales team in leading the team to exceed the Infusion Therapies and Technologies expectations. This team is responsible for the sale of large volume infusion pumps, syringe pumps, accessories as well as software upgrades and extended Service packages to hospitals throughout the region. Implement sales strategies to attain sales volume, product mix and profit objectives. Supporting the IS Territory Managers with prospective customers, delivering effective sales presentations, providing technical and administrative product information and/or demonstrations, and quoting appropriate customer prices. Providing feedback to immediate supervisor and marketing personnel for the development of marketing policy, recommending product and product line revisions as well as pricing changes. Promoting the Baxter Culture through positive ongoing relationships and activities. Preparing annual regional sales forecasts, sales against forecasts and participating in the determination of market potential for the region. Contacting major accounts to ensure customer satisfaction within assigned region. Directing staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales program. Partnering with sales support, training, marketing and R&D in activities such as sales promotion, training or market research in planning and executing special projects.
