Are you a skilled and experienced construction professional ready to take on a pivotal role in delivering high-profile projects?

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Construction Project Engineer to join our KBR Adelaide team to oversee and coordinate critical interfaces between our client, the managing contractor, and our technical site support team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will serve as the primary point of contact between the construction team and the project team.
  • Manage and ensure timely responses to Requests for Information (RFIs), shop drawing reviews, and site inspections.
  • Oversee the technical site support team, including civil, structural, building services, security, and architectural disciplines.
  • Support the delivery of Production Demonstration Facilities (PDF) and building infrastructure projects.
  • Lead on-site construction administration processes to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Play a significant role in the first tranche of construction and contribute to the ongoing delivery of future project phases.
Skills & Experience Required:

  • A background in structural engineering, building services engineering, or architecture.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the construction industry, with a strong understanding of on-site construction administration processes, typically acquired through substantial project experience and technical proficiency.
  • Proven experience managing complex projects and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Current Baseline Clearance or the ability to obtain Defence clearance required.
  • Candidates must hold Australian Citizenship.
