Are you an EMT, Paramedic, or Nurse looking for flexible, meaningful work that fits your lifestyle? Join Amphibious Medics, the nation’s largest network of medical professionals, and get paid to use your skills—only when you choose to work.

As an On‑Demand Responder, you accept assignments on your schedule. You’ll receive alerts for available responses within 90 minutes of your home address, giving you full control over when and where you work. Every response pays a minimum of $100, and your base pay increases as you complete more responses, rewarding your experience and commitment over time.

This role is perfect for medical professionals seeking extra income, gig‑style flexibility, and independence in the field.

What You’ll Do

On‑Demand Responders accept real‑time assignments through our alert system. Responsibilities include:

  • Provide basic first aid, triage, and referrals to outside medical providers
  • Complete incident documentation through a smartphone‑based reporting system
  • Conduct workplace and pre‑employment screenings (training provided)
  • Perform drug and alcohol testing (training provided)
  • Support a variety of client needs, including:
    • ✅ First Aid Responses
    • ✅ Drug Screening
    • ✅ Health Fairs
    • ✅ Employee Wellness Screenings

All services are provided at the First Aid level.

Requirements

What You Need

Qualifications

  • Ability to lift and carry at least 35 lbs.
  • Reliable transportation
  • A smartphone for incident reporting and communication
  • Ability to walk, stand, and navigate construction or industrial environments


Education & Certifications
(Open to EMTs, Paramedics, and Nurses)


  • Valid EMT‑B or higher certification, OR
  • Paramedic license, OR
  • Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN)
  • CPR/BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

It’s a Plus If You Have

  • Experience with OSHA 29 CFR 1910
  • Familiarity with worker’s compensation processes
  • Instructor credentials (First Aid/CPR/AED)
