Job Description:

Parsons is anticipating the need for a Document Controller Manager to join our team and support on a complex infrastructure project on-site in Dublin. In this role, you will lead and optimize the document management strategy and systems, ensuring controlled, compliant, and efficient information flow across all projects and stakeholders.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Lead the development and implementation of document management systems to ensure streamlined organization, access, and retrieval of documents.
  • Design and enforce version control protocols to ensure current documents are used and historical records are maintained.
  • Supervise document management activities, including revisions, ensuring accuracy and consistency of document versions.
  • Develop strategies for efficient distribution of documents to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure documentation complies with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Design and enforce access control measures to safeguard sensitive information.
  • Enhance communication with team members, stakeholders, and vendors to streamline document exchanges.
  • Coordinate document review and approval processes to ensure timely revisions.
  • Maintain detailed records of document history, including revisions, approvals, and distribution logs.
  • Generate and present reports on document status, activities, and compliance.
  • Identify and implement improvements to document management processes and systems.
  • Prioritize and manage tasks to meet deadlines and ensure efficient document flow.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to document control staff.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • 10+ years' experience in document management, including 5+ years managing project document control on high-value infrastructure or construction projects.
  • Extensive experience in document control relating to compliance, quality, and policies.
  • Extensive experience working with document management systems and databases.
  • Knowledge of quality management and process improvement practices within the construction or infrastructure sector.

  • Knowledge of project management principles and practices.
