RAM Health is a national leader in the development, sales, and support of innovative software solutions for health insurance companies and is looking for a full-time Entry Level Programmer Analyst/Developer.
This position is 100% remote and allows you to live anywhere in the U.S. and work from your home office. RAM does not provide sponsorship for U.S. employment and candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
We are seeking a full-time Programmer Analyst/Developer who is a performance-driven individual dedicated to joining our team and contributing to our continued success. Under general direction and with guidance from more experienced team members, this position supports the software development lifecycle by designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting application solutions from functional and technical specifications. This position will regularly work as part of a team on complex projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, develop, test, and implement application solutions in alignment with functional requirements and technical specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve defects by analyzing issues, implementing fixes, and validating results.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for application components and changes.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field.
- Knowledge of J2EE development
- Knowledge of HTML, XML, Servlet and JDBC
- Knowledge of EJB development a plus
- Knowledge of Angular 2+ development a plus
- Knowledge of Web Design and CSS a plus
- Knowledge of Java IDEs - Eclipse, RAD, etc.
- Relational database knowledge with SQL programming
- Knowledge of Unix a plus
