Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented AWS Workspace Admin istrator to join our team! In this role, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between our development and operations teams. You will be responsible for managing AWS workspace services central to supporting users and applications, while working closely with our partners as well as data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure that our data-driven strategies are effective and aligned with our organizational goals.

This role supports remote work, with occasional onsite attendance required for customer-facing meetings in Columbia, MD.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Integrate various tools and technologies to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
  • Manage and maintain AWS workspace configurations and enhancing capabilities and usability
  • Capable of supporting AWS workspace s without technical supervision required to perform tasks .
  • Lead work product and technical capabilities development to perform regular maintenance of these environments and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • Active Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Information Technology, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience in an AWS Workspace Administrator or related role
  • Security+ certification (this cannot be substituted with other security certs)
  • E xperience using Infrastructure as Code ( IaC ) tools to manage workspace provisioning
  • Previous experience designing , executi ng , and sustaining enterprise-level AWS workspaces using both external identity / authentication services and native AWS services to onboard users within DCSA's e nvironment
  • In-depth knowledge and proficiency with various Linux and Windows OS deployments with ability to automate and optimize Secure-hardened images where possible (including Ansible, Terraform, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, flexible environment, and take the initiative to learn new tools and concepts quickly

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
  • Knowledge of security best practices and tools for DevOps
  • Experienced with Agile development methodologies
  • AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Developer, or AWS DevOps engineering certification

Security Clearance Requirement:
An active Top Secret security clearance is required for this position.

Salary Range: $108,700.00 - $190,200.00
