Purpose:Â
The Assistant Manager – Business Development will play a hands-on execution role in Enerparc Power Trading’s Leads and commercial operations. The role will act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for sales-related internal coordination along with marketing activities, manage OTC / third-party bilateral power trades, drive generator acquisition, and own I-REC sales targets.Â
The position will also function as the Regulatory SPOC for tracking and disseminating power market and open access–related updates across Enerparc Power Trading and group companies. This role requires strong coordination skills, regulatory understanding, and accountability for assigned business targets.Â
Key Responsibilities:Â
Act as SPOC for all sales-related internal queries, including marketing-generated leads and direct business leads.Â
Act of Leads and Guide them through savings analysis to agreement signing.  Â
Coordinate with internal teams (Trading Desk, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Legal) to ensure timely closure of opportunities.Â
Track lead movement from enquiry to deal closure and support pipeline visibility.Â

 2) OTC & Bilateral Trade ExecutionÂ
Handle end-to-end OTC / third-party bilateral power trading activities involving generators and consumers.Â
Support identification, onboarding, and engagement of generators for OTC and exchange-based trades.Â
Coordinate documentation, commercial discussions, and deal execution for bilateral contracts.Â
While supported by marketing and internal teams, ownership of business targets for OTC trades will rest with this role.Â

4) I-REC Sales & Green Attribute MonetizationÂ
Own I-REC sales activities, including lead generation, customer engagement, pricing coordination, and closures.Â
Be accountable for I-REC sales targets assigned to the role.Â
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for issuance, transfer, and settlement of I-RECs.Â
Open Access regulationsÂ
Exchange-related rules and proceduresÂ
Charges, banking, scheduling, deviations, and settlement mechanismsÂ
Track and circulate regulatory updates from CERC, SERCs, SLDCs, RLDCs, and Power Exchanges. Support internal teams and group companies (IPP, EPC, Rooftop, Trading) with regulatory clarifications and impact assessment.Â

Requirements
Key Skills and Qualifications:Â
- Postgraduate / Graduate in Engineering, Energy, Power, or Business AdministrationÂ
- 3–4 years of experience in power trading, renewable energy, or related commercial rolesÂ
- Hands-on exposure to OTC / bilateral power trading and generator coordinationÂ
- Good understanding of open access regulations, exchange mechanisms, and RE market frameworksÂ
- Experience in I-REC / REC markets preferredÂ
- Strong coordination, follow-up, and stakeholder management skillsÂ
- Comfortable working as a cross-functional SPOCÂ
- Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Excel, and reporting dashboardsÂ
- Willingness to travel as required – expect a minimum of 60% travelÂ
