Due to our recent expansion, Riverchase Dermatology has immediate opening for Clinical Scheduling Coordinators. Job duties include communicating biopsy results in a timely manner, explaining diagnoses and treatments accurately and scheduling/coordinating appropriate treatments as outlined by the practice providers.

Riverchase Dermatology, a large, fast-paced medical practice serving thousands of patients across South-Central Florida, is currently looking for dependable and professional staff in multiple locations to help meet the needs of our steadily growing practice and patient population.
Essential Functions:Â
 1.    Exemplifies and upholds Culture of Service Excellence standards at all times.Â
2. Â Â Â Schedules patients for visits with practice providers and coordinates referrals outside of practice as directed. Â Â
3. Â Â Â Coordinates with the patient the care plans given by providers.
 4.    Verifies insurance information given by patients to ensure proper authorization, appropriate referrals and payment for services.
 5.    Follows up on phone calls and messages promptly.
 6.    Receives, logs and tracks biopsy results for assigned locations/ providers in the practice.Â
 7.    Maintains logs with up to date information on patient biopsy results daily and weekly.
 8.    Documents all communication in detail in EMR and follows up as needed.
9. Â Â Â Â Works effectively and efficiently in a team environment.
Supervisory Responsibility:Â

Required Education and Experience: Â Â Â Â
High School Diploma or Equivalency
2 - 3 years’ experience preferred
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
Strong typing and computer skills.
Excellent customer service, patient care, and communication skills.
Must be dependable, have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and be a team player.
Regular and reliable attendance if an essential function of this position.Â
Strongly preferred but not required:

Proficient in the use of electronic medical records (EMR).
Knowledge and experience in the medical field or dermatology.
