FSC Lead Auditors - USA & CA
We are currently building a pipeline for experienced FSC Lead Auditors to support upcoming certification and audit projects.
Qualifications & Experience
- Tertiary education (college/university) with minimum 2 years of experience in the forest products sector, OR
- Secondary education (high school) with minimum 4 years of relevant professional experience
- Registered in the FSC Auditor & Training Registry (mandatory)
Additional Experience
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification (IRCA / Exemplar Global or equivalent)
- Experience in Chain of Custody (CoC) auditing
- Exposure to certification schemes such as SFI, PEFC, RSPO, MSC, UTZ
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare audits, including confirming availability and independence
- Conduct audits at participating sites and manage audit teams (if applicable)
- Prepare audit reports, including non-conformity findings
- Follow up on audit findings and ensure timely closure
- Submit audit documentation in line with deadlines
- Ensure compliance with FSC, ASI, and internal procedures
