About the Role

We’re looking for a Director of Marketing Strategy who can lead marketing strategy and client engagement across a portfolio of growing companies.

Most of our clients are B2B organizations in industries such as technology and healthcare, though we also support a small number of consumer-facing brands. The ideal candidate is comfortable developing marketing strategies for a variety of business models and understands how marketing approaches differ across audiences and industries.

You will act as the strategic lead across multiple client accounts, guiding campaign direction, reviewing deliverables, and leading client meetings. You’ll work closely with our internal team and specialists to ensure marketing initiatives are aligned, high-quality, and delivering measurable results.

This role combines marketing leadership, client communication, demand generation strategy, and campaign oversight.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead marketing strategy development for a portfolio of clients across primarily B2B industries, with occasional consumer brands
  • Run weekly client strategy meetings and act as the primary strategic contact for accounts
  • Translate business goals into demand generation and marketing campaigns across channels such as content, email marketing, paid media, and digital marketing
  • Review deliverables from our team (content, campaigns, website work, etc.) to ensure strategic alignment and quality before they reach clients
  • Provide strategic direction and feedback to internal specialists and contractors executing marketing initiatives
  • Collaborate with our project coordinator to ensure timelines and deliverables stay on track
  • Analyze campaign performance and recommend optimizations to improve results
  • Identify growth opportunities within client accounts and recommend new initiatives
  • Guide messaging, campaign direction, and marketing priorities based on each client’s growth goals

Who We’re Looking For

Senior Marketing Experience
You have 8+ years of experience in marketing, ideally working with B2B organizations such as technology, healthcare, SaaS, or professional services. Experience with consumer brands is a plus.

Demand Generation Expertise
You have experience building and optimizing lead generation and pipeline-driving marketing programs, including campaigns across channels such as email, content marketing, paid media, and digital marketing.

Strategic Marketing Leadership
You’ve personally developed marketing strategies and guided campaigns from concept through execution, translating business goals into measurable marketing initiatives.

Team Leadership Experience
You have experience leading marketing teams, guiding specialists, and reviewing deliverables to ensure strategic alignment and quality.

Client-Facing Experience
You are comfortable leading conversations with executives, presenting strategy, and guiding clients through marketing decisions.

Strong Marketing Judgment
You can review deliverables and provide thoughtful strategic feedback to writers, designers, and campaign specialists.

Data-Informed Thinking
You use marketing metrics and campaign performance data to refine campaigns and guide strategic decisions.

Agency Experience (Preferred)
Experience working as a marketing leader or marketing director within an agency environment is a strong plus.

Collaborative Availability
Must be available during standard business hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET (with a one-hour break for lunch), with some flexibility. This role also requires participation in periodic internal and client meetings via video.

U.S.-Based
This is a full-time W-2 role and applicants must reside in the United States.

  • Six weeks of paid parental leave
