Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: 24 hours
Shifts: Monday to Sunday, flexibility required. This roleincludes working regular weekends as part of the rota. Days and shifts will bediscussed and agreed with the client, with advance planning wherever possible

Meet Our Client

You will be supportinga woman in her 40s who lives at home with her family. She is looking forsupport to help her live a fulfilling and enjoyable life while staying safe andindependent. She has learning disabilities and epilepsy, so requires consistentsupport with her wellbeing and daily routines. She enjoys spending time in thecommunity, including going out for drives, visiting local parks and exploringlocal shops. She also enjoys an annual family holiday with her relatives

About the Role

·        Providing 1:1 support withdaily routines and activities
·        Personal care support
·        Supporting with medicationadministration
·        Seizure awareness andsupport in line with care plan
·        Supporting communityaccess, including drives, parks and shopping trips
·        Encouraging independenceand engagement in activities
·        Promoting safety, wellbeingand consistency of care

About You

·        Eligibility to Work in theUK: You must be eligible to work in the UK. Home Care Direct does not offersponsorship or work visas
·        Calm, observant andresponsive
·        Care experience preferred
·        Committed to providingsafe, respectful and consistent support
·        Knowledge of epilepsy andlearning disabilities is desirable
