Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking to hire a Physical Therapist for a travel contract position in St Ignace, MI. We are accepting both local and travel candidates

Position Details:

Pay Rate: $2600 Weekly Gross Pay based on a 40-hour work week (Includes Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Unit: PT

Shifts available: Days

Schedule: 40 hours/week guaranteed, 5 X 8-hr shifts per week, Monday - Friday, No Weekends or On-call

Position Requirements:

• Current Physical Therapist experience:  1years - Required
  
• Willing to work with primarily inpatients and then outpatient and LTC
  
• Must have own transportation
  
• Travel contracts experience – Highly preferred
  

Education, License and Certification Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in PT or equivalent - Required
  
• PT License for State of MI - Required
  
• BLS Certifications from AHA  - Required
  

Job Description:

• Helps reduce pain and restore function and independence in patients who have undergone surgery, suffered an injury, are recovering from serious illness or are coping with a chronic condition.
  
• Uses a multidisciplinary approach, combining exercise and strength training with manual therapy and modalities to develop an individualized treatment plan that meets the unique needs of each patient.
  
• Follow physician's prescription and provide a comprehensive evaluation, work on-on-one with patient, following a specific plan of care designed to help the patient return to work and normal daily activities as quickly and safely as possible
