What will you do? 

The Lean Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for implementing and maintaining lean manufacturing principles and practices within the organization. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall product quality across manufacturing processes. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure sustainable implementation of lean methodologies.

How will you do it? 

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of current manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement.

  • Implement Lean tools and techniques such as Value Stream Mapping, 5S, and Kaizen to promote a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops to educate team members on lean principles and practices.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of lean initiatives and report findings to leadership.

  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to develop and standardize work instructions and processes.

  • Lead cross-functional teams in continuous improvement projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

What are we looking for?  

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering roles, with a strong focus on lean methodologies.

  • Solid understanding of Lean principles and tools, with a proven track record of successful implementation.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive change through data-driven decision-making.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders at all levels.

  • Lean certification (such as Lean Green Belt) is preferred.
