Overview

The Marketing Assistant is an integral member of our Sales and Marketing team, supporting a wide range of marketing initiatives in the medical business-to-business (B2B) sector. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on precision, organization, and follow-through team player who ensures every detail contributes to the success of larger marketing goals. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, a strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and an interest in medical industry marketing. You will play a key role in executing campaigns, maintaining data integrity, coordinating events, and ensuring the quality and consistency of all marketing communications.

 

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update customer and lead data within CRM systems (Salesforce.com), ensuring accuracy and consistency across accounts.
  • Assist with campaign orchestration—including email development, follow-up activities, performance tracking, and reporting.
  • Support website content generation, quality assurance, and accuracy of product or clinical information.
  • Coordinate logistics for events such as continuing education seminars, tradeshows, and special marketing initiatives.
  • Manage vendor resource libraries and coordinate supplier-based training seminars/webinars.
  • Edit and proofread marketing collateral, ensuring brand consistency, accuracy, and compliance with medical marketing standards.
  • Provide administrative and project-based marketing support to the Marketing Manager, Territory Sales Managers, and Customer Service teams.
  • Oversee organization and inventory control of marketing materials, promotional items, and sample kits.
  • Generate and distribute supplementary catalog materials, sales folders, and marketing communications to internal and external teams.
  • Support the management of company social media channels with a focus on brand voice, compliance, and audience engagement.
  • Monitor competitive activity and industry trends in the medical and rehabilitation markets to support strategic decisions.

 

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field (medical or B2B experience preferred).
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on clarity, tone, and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce.com preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) or similar design software is a plus.
  • Experience with email marketing tools, web content management systems, or analytics platforms preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of human anatomy, kinesiology, prosthetics, orthotics, or medical device marketing is a plus.
