Your New Role and Responsibilities

As a trusted adviser to our management team within Leidos, the OCM Consultant will play a key role in the success of our organisational change, supporting changes to business processes, technologies, and systems. This role will support a new ICT project that is currently being stood up, and as such you will be instrumental in ensuring that the change being undertaken is successful.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the project’s change management approach—including analysis, planning, implementation, communications (with communication strategy), and all associated change considerations—while supporting organisational design and defining roles and responsibilities.

  • Conduct impact assessments and change‑readiness evaluations, identify key stakeholders, and design, deliver, and manage all communications and stakeholder engagement activities to drive understanding and positive change adoption.

  • Maintain and execute stakeholder communication plans and Communications Strategy deliverables, ensuring effective collaboration with internal and customer teams to influence business leaders and key stakeholders.

  • Define success metrics, capture and analyse data, and integrate measurement methodologies into project delivery while championing change capability uplift across impacted groups.

  • Coach and support executives, leaders, and people managers to embed strong change‑management practices and effectively guide their teams through change.

About You and What You'll Bring

  • Extensive experience delivering change and communication activities across large‑scale technology and transformation projects (preferably within Government), supported by formal qualifications in Change Management, Communications, or a related field.

  • Strong stakeholder‑management capability at all levels, including conducting Business Impact Assessments, performing stakeholder analysis, and leading a range of stakeholder‑engagement and business‑readiness activities.

  • Proven ability to design, execute, and embed Change Management and Communications Plans, including defining future‑state outcomes and stabilising the impacts of change on people and the business.

  • Highly developed communication, facilitation, and documentation skills, with the ability to produce professional presentations, user guides, and quick‑reference guides to support transition activities.

  • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory capability, consistently delivering strong results in complex environments while building organisational change‑management capability and supporting teams through change.

This role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and hold a Baseline level security clearance but be willing and able to uplift to an NV-1.
