The Radiology Supervisor directs responsibility for adult, pediatric and neonatal care until patient is returned to patient room or until outpatient is discharged: prepare, oversee the radiology workflow, supervise and perform Radiographic procedures. Provide direct supervision to technologists and students in order to obtain optimal radiographs to include positioning patients for each anatomical view specified using immobilization and protective devices as required. Assist the Radiologist with fluoroscopic examinations and preparation of equipment for fluoroscopic procedures. Coordinates services with other clinical resources: nursing units, anesthesia, outpatient scheduling, to include physician's office staff and patients in scheduling for x ray examinations, coordination of our Radiologist assets for direct assistance with Radiographic and interventional procedures. The Radiology supervisor will designate daily shift assignments for technologists, clerical staff and transporters being responsible to the needs of the hospital and its staffing requirements. Assist the Director with staff scheduling and time editing functions. The Radiology supervisor will provide guidance and support to Imaging staff regarding importing and creation of medical records on media in order to meet all clinical and compliance requirements. The Radiology supervisor will oversee daily checklists and cleaning of equipment. Perform physical inspections of Radiographic equipment; keep a log of any malfunctions. Inform Imaging Director of the need for service evaluation on Radiographic equipment. Responsible to conduct peer interviews of perspective employees and evaluations during employee internment. Perform yearly evaluations employee evaluations on radiographers and clerical/transportation staff. The Radiology supervisor provides support to materials management to maintain a proper supply inventory by overseeing the ordering of stock and replenish supplies as required. The Radiology supervisor performs radiology associated QA as is appropriate in accordance with prescribed radiation safety procedures. Provide constant review images for quality assessment. The Radiology supervisor assists in statistical reports QA and PI initiatives as directed by imaging director. Performs daily routine of Radiology procedures and staffing including On-Call.

Minimum Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited Radiology Technology program. Thorough knowledge of CT scans & procedures in all forms of diagnostic, therapy procedures, terminology, practice, procedure, physiology and human anatomy.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology.
Other Qualifications: Required Certification/Licensure/Registration:
1. National Registry ARRT (R), (CT)
2. State of Florida, DOH License
3. Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification
