We have an opening for a Regional Sales Manager to grow sales, in Colorado and Utah, in a manner that protects and strengthens APCO reputation in the sign industry for excellence in product and service.

 

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Establish APCO as the premier source for architectural signing and displays in the territory. Territory: Colorado and Utah.
  • Pursue new sources of business.
  • Build relationships with clients and customers.
  • Build long-term relationships with all who influence buying decisions: End Users, Designers, Architects, Facility Managers, Property Managers, General Contractors and select Sign Companies.
  • Be the liaison between End users and the Sales Support Team at APCO.
  • Present APCO's AIA Continuing Education Classes to designers and architects in the territory that work in our markets (higher ed, government, healthcare, corporate, etc.)
  • Make Product Presentations in conjunction with AIA CEU's and whenever requested or accepted.
  • Development and presentation of sales proposals, budgets, samples, etc.
  • Provide timely Sales Projection Reports, Call Reports and Expense Reports.
  • Build relationships with major influencers in the territory.
  • Respond to customer complaints and help resolve problems.
  • Make periodic visits to factory to gain knowledge of new products and procedures.
  • Any additional duties that may be required to reach objective.

Necessary Skills and Training:

  • Sales Talent, Energy and Ability
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Good organizational skills
  • Valid Driver's License and Excellent Driving Record
  • Ability to handle multiple ongoing projects.
  • Ability to read and interpret customer supplied documents for pricing and sample specification purposes.
  • Sign Industry Knowledge or ability to learn quickly.
