Essential Duties & Responsibilities Sales Enablement & Market Research The SOA focuses on research & analysis of funding opportunities and market segments aligned with the Ideal Customer Profile to identify growth opportunities by generating reports (Salesforce, Burbio, and market intelligence tools) to prioritize outreach, and sales activities. Prospecting & Lead Development The SOA conducts outbound prospecting, manages inbound leads to identify and qualify prospective customers, identifies key decision-makers, maintains early-stage prospect relationships and documents prospect engagement to support effective opportunity management and continued sales progression. Business Development Strategy & Support The SOA partners with the Business Development Team to support account segmentation by state, program, customer type, and organizational priorities while collaborating with marketing, Product, and Sales teams on business development campaigns and strategic initiatives that improve sales productivity, and pipeline generation. QualificationsRequirements: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Education, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. 2+ years of experience in business development, inside sales, sales support, customer success, or a related sales role, preferably within K–12 education, literacy, curriculum, or education technology. Experience using Salesforce or other CRM platform managing customer accounts, opportunities, and sales activities. Experience with outbound prospecting, lead qualification, and customer research. Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong written & verbal communication skills, including confidence engaging prospective customers by phone and email.
