Responsibilities:

  • Provides detailed, high-level support to Regional Sales Representatives and Regional Manager
  • Acts as a liaison between Sales Team, Customers, and Internal Departments
  • Account Maintenance – ADF Completion for new accounts, new product item numbers, specification changes, price changes, new customer credit applications, and credit reference requests.
  • Responsible for SOX compliance within respective territory. Provides data and responses for external and internal price audits.
  • Management of Complaint process. Enter all complaints into Salesforce; follow-up to ensure timely completion of the investigation and creating a formalized response to customer complaints.
  • Management and administration of all Index and Market price adjustments within the region including system updates and correspondence to customers including maintenance of customer's mailing lists.
  • Responds to customer requests; spec sheets, marketing materials, and certifications as well as Surveys and RFI’s
  • Investigates customer short pays within the region. Make corrections to the system as to not to pro-long, short pays, and issue credits when approved.
  • Assists territory reps with RFQ preparation
  • Assists with Drop Trailer initiatives within the region and processes drop trailer agreements.
  • Attends and participates in Team Meetings.
  • Various other duties and special projects as assigned

Requirements:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in sales, marketing, or customer service
  • Detailed-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to multi-task in a highly diversified work environment
  • Strong customer service advocacy and problem-solving skills
  • QAD or Solomon experience preferred 
  • Microsoft Office Suite – basic to above-average computer skills including Excel
  • CRM experience preferred - Salesforce (CRM) plus 
    Sense of urgency
  • Professional verbal and written communication
  • Ability to work with a multitude of personalities 
  • Strong problem-solving ability 
  • Detail-orientated
  • Occasional travel may be necessary
