What will you do?

Johnson Controls is seeking a talented and motivated Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic team to manage the B2B Commerce salesforce portal. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Salesforce development and a proven ability to create scalable and maintainable solutions on the Salesforce platform.

This role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to meet business requirements and deliver high-quality Salesforce applications.

How will you do it?

Develop and implement robust Salesforce applications and solutions tailored to business needs.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Technical Leads, and other stakeholders to gather and define requirements.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using Apex, Visualforce, Aura, Lightning Web Components, and other Salesforce technologies.
Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to ensure high code quality and adherence to best practices. Integrate
Salesforce with third-party applications and services using REST/SOAP APIs.
Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure the functionality and performance of developed solutions.
Maintain and enhance existing Salesforce applications, addressing any issues or enhancements as needed.
Stay up to date with Salesforce releases and new features, providing recommendations for improvements and enhancements.
Assist in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including design specifications and user guides.

What are we looking for?

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Salesforce development, including experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce. Experienced in creating and managing Experience Cloud Sites.
Extensive experience in building webpages in VF Pages, Aura, LWC, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
Strong understanding of Salesforce objects, data models, and security features.
