Senior S3D Specialist/Developer

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for overall application development, customization and configuration of Hexagon's Smart 3D and SmartSketch.
Setting up and administering multi-discipline detailed design projects using SP3D and other 3D tools.
Defining and applying security groups' permissions:

1. 3D Symbol Development

2. Loading and customizing hangers and support.

3. Customizing new name rules.

4. Custom command development.

5. SQL and Oracle Server expertise.

6. Creating procedures and functions in SQL.

7. SQL report customization for catalogue and model integration between S3D and SPPID, and other 2D to structural macros development for different types of connections.

Isogen customization and configuration:

1. New view style development

2. Preparing and loading SP items.

3. Preparing and loading instruments.

4. Setting up SPR/DGN export reports.

5. Setting up 3D reference models.

6. Setting up IFC codeless rules and customization.

User training for SP3D:

1. Database maintenance.

2. Database integrity.
3. Create new custom interferences.
4. Scheduling daily backups and reports.
5. Awareness of MDR.

Job Requirements:

Diploma or Graduate Degree in Engineering.
At least 10+ years of SP3D development experience.
Experience with Smart Plant 3D, SmartSketch, Smart Plant Review, and other associated S3D applications, customization, and development, MicroStation, and AutoCAD.
Possess leadership and decision-making skills.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Strong facilitation, analytical, and design skills.
Good problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize and organize support activities and deliver multiple tasks.
Experience in BIM packages, Oracle DB, and Visual Basic DB is an added advantage.
