ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Manage IT projects with a high to critical level of risk / regulatory oversight.
  • Indirectly manage and/or oversee IT Analysts on project tasks.
  • Participate in the development, maintenance, and updating of IT Project Management standards and procedure as needed.
  • Serve as a liaison to internal and external stakeholders to identify, document, and resource requirements.聽
  • Manage projects with high-level of Project Management rigor (i.e., PMBoK/industry standards)
  • Responsible to ensure supporting Project Collateral is created in adherence to IT Project Management standards and procedures.聽 This will include the creation of the collateral itself.聽聽
  • Positively guide and Influence cross-functional project teams through issue and risk management.
  • Manage IT technology initiatives from concept through implementation.
  • Manage multiple projects at any given time and time horizon of projects generally range from medium to long term with little to no supervision.
  • Oversee daily project activity.聽
  • May use traditional waterfall, agile, Scaled Agile, or a mixture of project management techniques.聽
  • Identify and coordinate the mitigation of project risks.
  • Identify and coordinate the resolution of project issues.聽
  • Manage and escalate program issues to their IT PMO Manager, Director of IT PMO, and IT Leadership as needed.聽
  • Develop and report upon KPIs to IT Program Managers, IT Project Managers, and IT Leadership.聽
  • Monitor and report on project status to IT Program Managers, IT PMO Manager, IT Leadership, and Bank Leadership.聽
  • Other duties as assigned.

COMPETENCIES

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Applied knowledge of waterfall and agile project management tools

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ability to professionally manage self as well as indirectly manage and mentor more junior IT PMO resources.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 A strong self-starter, takes initiative, can easily see the big picture to analyze, summarize, and effectively communicate verbally and in writing.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Demonstrated organizational skills.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Experience with data management, data mapping, data modeling, and governance. Keen understanding of risk management & regulatory demands.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Experience in Information Technology, including medium to high-level of proficiency related to IT terminology, operations, and functions.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 A consummate professional, a polished presence with the ability to work effectively cross-boundaries with key stakeholders and the leadership team.聽

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ability to challenge opinions with confidence and professionalism.

Qualifications, Education, and Certification Requirements

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Experience: At least ten years of proven Project Manager experience required.聽

  • Certifications/Specific Knowledge: PMP, CSM, and/or SAFE certifications are highly desirable.

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/CLASSES

Required annual compliance training; New Employee Orientation; ITIL Foundations.聽

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Ability to communicate orally with management co-workers, and non-technical stakeholders is important. Regular use of the telephone, e-mail, and collaboration tools for communication is essential. Standing or sitting for extended periods is common.聽 Hearing and vision within normal ranges is important for conversations, to receive ordinary information and to prepare or inspect project collateral.

Heavy lifting is not expected. Exertion of up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally is required. Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computer terminals, calculator, copiers, and FAX machines or measuring tools is required.

In accordance with Colorado and Virginia law: Pay for this position is anticipated to be between $101,718.00 - $162,484.00 , actual offers to be determined based on applicant鈥檚 skills, experience and education.
