The Sr. Sales Executive – Business Development will be responsible for the development and execution of plans to enable the growth and acceleration of our Onfido sales Identity organization for the financial industry. Key activities include relationship building, assessing market trends, understanding product market fit, contract negotiations, sales enablement, goal setting, quarterly business reviews, co-marketing initiatives, partner management, and co-selling initiatives. Collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams is required. Responsibilities include identifying business opportunities, researching and analyzing the financial industry market and competitors, creating and presenting sales materials, organizing team selling, contributing to account planning and forecasting, developing customer relationships, driving and closing sales, staying updated on product developments, participating in marketing and product activities, maintaining competitive knowledge, building relationships with associations, leveraging CRM for pipeline and financial planning, creating business plans and reviews, forecasting orders, building cross-functional relationships, acting as escalation point, and recommending process improvements. Basic qualifications include 5+ years of business-to-business and enterprise sales experience, prior financial industry experience, excellent interpersonal skills, lawful work authorization in the US, willingness to travel 40% including some international travel, and a bachelor's degree. Preferred qualifications include experience in the Identity Verification industry and business consulting.
