Sr. Designer - Structural

Job Summary:

Onshore Designer to support our engineering and design team in delivering high-quality 3D and 2D design solutions for onshore oil & gas, petrochemical, and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in layout and detailing using S3D, E3D, AutoCAD, and MicroStation, with a proven track record of working on multidisciplinary design projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and update 3D models and 2D drawings for piping, structural, and equipment layouts.
Interpret and apply engineering specifications, P&IDs, and project standards.
Coordinate with engineering disciplines to ensure design consistency and clash-free models.
Generate fabrication, construction, and as-built drawings.
Perform model reviews and participate in design coordination meetings.
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
Maintain drawing records and revision control throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent.
15+ years of experience in onshore design projects.
Proficient in S3D (Smart 3D) and/or E3D (AVEVA Everything3D).
Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and MicroStation.
Familiarity with onshore plant design standards and practices.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and team collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in refinery, petrochemical, or utility projects.
Knowledge of PDMS or other 3D design tools is a plus.
Exposure to construction or fabrication environments.
