JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Director of Marketing is responsible for developing and leading Century’s overall marketing strategy to support sustainable, profitable growth and long-term brand strength in a debt settlement environment. Through extreme ownership of the full marketing lifecycle from lead generation strategy through channel performance and downstream enrollment quality. This leader will balance aggressive growth targets with disciplined customer acquisition economics, marketing technology rigor, compliance and tight coordination with Sales, Operations and Client Services to ensure long-term portfolio performance. This role is equal parts growth leader, technical marketer, and financial steward.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Specific duties include but are not limited to:
Marketing Strategy & Lead Generation:Â
- Own and continuouslyoptimizethe end-to-end marketing strategy, including:Â
- Channel mix optimization across paid digital, organic, direct mail, social media, and affiliate/partnership channels, marketing automation, lead scoring, nurture sequences, and attribution modeling, media planning, vendor management, creative testing, and budget allocation across all channels.
- Partner with Sales and Business Development to ensure lead volumes, quality, and timing align with enrollment capacity and CAC targets.Â
- Establish clear campaign playbooks, creative standards, messaging frameworks, and compliance review processes aligned with FTC regulations and debt-settlement advertising guidelines.Â
- Monitor real-time and cohort-based performance metrics (CPL, CPA, lead-to-enrollment rate, channel ROAS) at the campaign level and macro level.
Social Media & Brand:Â
- Own social media strategy and execution across all platforms:Â
- Content calendar development, community management, reputation monitoring, and paid social campaigns.
- Organic brand building that reinforces Century's trust, experience, and integrity positioning.
- Social listening and sentiment analysis to inform messaging andidentifyemerging consumer concerns.
- Ensure social content meets regulatory and compliance standards for debt settlement advertising.
- Partner with Client Services to amplify client success stories and testimonials within compliance guidelines.
Marketing Technology & Analytics:Â
- Own the marketing technology stack and ensure itoperatesas a unified, measurable system:Â
- CRM integration, marketing automation platforms, call tracking, analytics tools, and reporting infrastructure.
- Build andmaintainmulti-touch attribution models that accurately reflect channel contribution.
- Implement and manage A/B testing programs across channels, creative, landing pages, and audience segments.
- Partner with IT and Data teams to ensure clean data flows, proper tagging, and reliable reporting pipelines.
- Deliver weekly and monthly performance dashboards to executive leadership with clear insight-to-action analysis.
Direct Mail & Offline Channels:Â
- Own the direct mail program end-to-end, including:Â
- List strategy, segmentation, creative development, print production, and fulfillment of vendor management.
- Testing cadence for offer, format, copy, and audience variables.
- Response tracking, match back analysis, and integration with digital attribution.
- Evaluate and scaleadditionaloffline channels (radio, TV, OTT/CTV)whereunit economics support growth.
- Ensure all direct mailcreative andofferscomply withstate and federal debt settlement advertising regulations.
Budgeting, Forecasting & Capacity Planning
- Own the marketing budget, including media spend, technology, vendor costs, creative production, and headcount:
- Build andmaintainlead generation forecasts tied to channel performance assumptions, seasonality, Sales capacity, and enrollment throughput constraints.
- Operational readiness across the client lifecycle.
- Partner with Finance to model scenarios and trade-offs between growth, margins, and service capacity.
- Use data to proactively adjust spend allocation, channel mix, and targets based on performance trends.
CAC Management & Unit EconomicsÂ
- Own Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) and contribution margin at the channel and cohort level:
- Ensure marketing strategies scale profitably, not justtop-line: Evaluate CAC payback periods by channel and campaign type.
- Balanceleadvolume growth with cost-per-lead discipline and enrollment quality.
- Establish guardrails for acceptable CAC by channel and ensure adherence across all programs.Â
- Partner with Sales and Finance to continuously improve unit economics and marketing ROI.
Team Leadership & Performance ManagementÂ

EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE
- 7-10+ years of marketing leadership experience, preferably in regulated, high-considerationconsumer environments (financial services, debt relief, lending, insurance, or similar).
- Demonstrated command of marketing technology stacks including CRM, automation, analytics, and attribution platforms.
- Proven experience building and scaling direct mail programs alongside digital acquisition channels.
- Strongtrack recordmanaging multi-million-dollarmarketing budgets with CAC and ROI accountability.
- Experience managing managers and scaling marketing teams across multiple disciplines.
- Demonstrated ability to balance creativity, compliance, and performance in consumer-facing campaigns.
- High integrity and sound judgment in consumer-impacting marketing decisions
