Sr. Expediter
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
The duties and responsibilities include the administration, monitoring and tracking of major equipment, minor equipment and bulk materials per the terms and conditions of purchase order and maintain schedule. Expediting of supplier data working and assisting engineering to ensure timely submittal and return of documents to maintain schedule. Setting up and conducting meetings with project team and suppliers. Maintaining detailed files and records for each purchase order. The updating and maintaining of the expediting status report, using the Integrated Project Management System (IPMS) and using Documentum to monitor and track the status of data and drawings. Assisting construction on Overages, shortages, damaged and quarantined equipment. Assisting accounts payable confirming milestones have been met for payment.
QUALIFICATIONSAND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
The Expediter position requires basic computer skills, knowledge and experience in the use of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Power Point. Effective skills in communication; being able to conduct regular scheduled meetings and conference calls with the project team and suppliers. Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree and 9+ years of experience in EPC expediting, or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
