As an Finance Manager supporting Platform, you'll join the FP&A team that translates Coinbase's mission into a sustainable financial reality by owning the company's financial roadmap, from the annual operating plan and rolling forecasts to in-depth business reviews. You'll serve as a key financial partner to Platform leadership partnering directly with our CTO, owning the analysis that guides operational expenditure planning and drives high-impact resource allocation decisions as we scale.
What you'll do:
  • Own end-to-end financial deliverables including forecasting, reporting, and analysis for your business partners, ensuring the annual budget and monthly planning cycles are met with precision
  • Drive month-end close for your areas by conducting detailed variance analysis and partnering with the Accounting team to maintain the integrity of financial data
  • Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities by proactively analyzing financial and operational data and surfacing the "why" behind the numbers before being asked
  • Partner with Platform leadership as a trusted financial advisor, preparing and presenting analysis during business reviews and translating complex data into clear recommendations
  • Build and maintain the financial models that quantify risks, opportunities, and investment trade-offs across your portfolio
Required Skills and Experience:
  • 6+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, or similar fast-paced finance environment
  • Track record managing large-scale OpEx budgets (headcount, infrastructure, AI, contractors) across multiple cost centers
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders on resource allocation and investment decisions through clear, actionable financial analysis
  • Advanced financial modeling skills, SQL proficiency for data analysis, and hands-on experience with planning tools (e.g., Anaplan, NetSuite) or data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau)
  • Demonstrates the ability to responsibly use generative AI tools and copilots (e.g., LibreChat, Gemini, Glean) in daily workflows, continuously learn as tools evolve, and apply human‑in‑the‑loop practices to deliver business‑ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in efficiency, cost, and quality.

$185,915—$195,700 USD
