About the Role
An established CPA firm is looking to add a Tax Supervisor to its team — a senior technical role responsible for reviewing and approving the work of other team members before it reaches the client or final sign-off. This is a fully remote position and you are able to work from anywhere in the US.

Responsibilities

  • Review and approve client financial statements, reconciliations, and journal entries prepared by other team members

  • Review and sign off on individual and business client tax returns prior to filing

  • Identify and correct errors or inconsistencies in work prepared by staff

  • Serve as the final technical checkpoint across the accounting/tax workflow

  • Provide guidance and technical feedback to staff accountants

  • Communicate directly with clients on complex or sensitive matters

  • Help refine and document internal review procedures and workflows

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of public accounting or tax experience, including review-level work

  • CPA license required or nearly complete

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • Strong command of U.S. GAAP, individual and business tax law

  • Experience reviewing the work of others, ideally including remote or offshore team members

  • Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment
