JOB TITLE:  Territory Manager, Dermatology & Immunology - Sioux Falls, SD

OBJECTIVES

The Dermatology & Immunology Territory Manager is responsible for promoting Sun’s branded dermatology portfolio and optimizing the business opportunities in targeted HCP offices and institutions that specialize in our therapeutic areas. The Territory Manager will be required to demonstrate excellence in developing and implementing business plans that lead to achievement of sales goals and objectives. Responsibilities include coordination with the HQ Commercial team and field based support teams to effectively drive acceptance of promoted products within the designated geography.  

Required:

  • Bachelor Degree
  • 3+ years pharmaceutical and/or medical sales experience or equivalent
  • Strong communication skills and business acumen
  • Ability to collaborate, adapt and deliver results
  • Analytical skills and the ability to effectively utilize technology
  • Ability to travel domestically as necessary, which may include overnight travel, majority of time will be spent in market
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing

Preferred:

  • Dermatology & Immunology sales experience
  • Biologics and/or JAK inhibitors selling experience
  • Experience selling products in a complex Market Access environment
  • Experience promoting high-science products
  • Product launch experience
  • Experience selling in a highly competitive environment

This individual must have a proactive mindset and be adaptable to a dynamic environment while maintaining focus on achieving territory business goals. This individual should be highly motivated and highly professional, capable of building trust with their matrix team, and compliant in all their activities. They should be proficient at selling and presenting scientific subject matter in a clear and understandable manner.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES/DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY:

  • Reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager
  • Responsible for the understanding and leveraging CRM, sales data, and reports
  • Responsible for timely call reporting and expense reporting
  • Responsible for managing promotional budgets within their territory
  • Responsible for meeting monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals

INTERACTIONS WITH OTHERS: Interacts at multiple levels inside and outside the company. Tact, diplomacy, and a high level of professionalism are essential.  

The presently-anticipated base compensation pay range for this position is $130k to $160k. Actual base compensation may vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to geographical location and experience. In addition, this position is part of IC Commission Plan. Employees are eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs which include medical, dental and vision coverage; life insurance; disability insurance; 401(k) savings plan; flexible spending accounts; and the employee assistance program. Employees also receive various paid time off benefits, including vacation time and sick time.

The compensation and benefits described above are subject to the terms and conditions of any governing plans, policies, practices, agreements, or other materials or documents as in effect from time to time, including but not limited to terms and conditions regarding eligibility. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company, or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

 

Actual base compensation may vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to geographical location and experience. In addition, this position is part of the Annual Performance Bonus Plan.
