The role of a Housing Coordinator is to connect with students/families and provide personalized guidance on apartment complexes and roommate options. The assigned Coordinator leads students through the entire process of relocation. Additionally, a Housing Coordinator assists current students with roommate replacement or new apartment assistance as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include providing the Full Sail Housing Guide to all incoming students, connecting with enrolling and active students through inbound and outbound calls, emails, warm transfers and working closely with post-enrollment campus admission teams, educating and supporting students and parents with relocation and addressing all questions & concerns, managing contact lists for assigned classes, conducting interviews and creating roommate profiles, emailing the roommate lists weekly, maintaining a list of current students needing roommate replacements or lease takeovers, daily data entry from housing forms/documents, tracking and creating monthly breakdowns of housing usage, creating referral lists by apartment complex, managing bi-monthly revisions of the Housing Guide, maintaining relationships with apartment management and leasing agents, following up with students who have not secured housing, tracking incomplete housing information, speaking with private renters, presenting housing information via webinars and on-campus events, and participating in on-campus registrations. The position requires strong communication skills, customer service, adaptability, creative thinking, teamwork, willingness to take on special projects, ability to work with minimal oversight, and strong time management skills. Education and experience required include 2 years of college or work experience. Computer skills required include Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, proficiency in PC and Mac OS, and Adobe Acrobat. Nice to have skills include Salesforce 2.0, Salesforce Reporting, SSRS Reporting, and Cisco Finesse. Work is performed in an office environment with some physical demands such as bending, reaching, kneeling, stooping, and lifting up to 30 pounds.
