Waste Connections has an Internship opportunity for a Web Analyst/Content Specialist at our corporate office in the Woodlands, Texas!
As a Web Analyst/Content Specialist, you will
Assist the web team in website tracking and organizing website information for the purpose of ongoing maintenance and management. Assist in migrating websites from other platforms to our corporate web platform. Assist in analyzing and developing new content for various web properties. Assist with the management of all our locationsā Google business listings.
Responsibilities:
Ā· Learn our web content management platform and help the web team maintain websites for various locations across the company
Ā· Participate in team efforts to make improvements across all web properties
Ā· Review both internal and external user feedback to suggest UX changes and improved content to meet stakeholder needs.
Ā· Work cross-functionally with internal partners and stakeholders including IT, Marketing, Sales, and Social Media teams to deliver web content or solutions to meet current needs.
Ā· Assist with the management and organization of all our locationsā Google Business profiles, as well as offering suggestions to optimize them considering changes with AI search and Gemini-first results.

Ā· Some understanding of digital marketing/ SEO/ AEO
Ā· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ā· Strong communication skills
Ā· Tech skills desired
o Basic SQL skills
o Basic HTML, Javascript, CSS skills
Bonus if experienced with the following (not required)
o Google Business Profiles
o Google Analytics
o Graphics software
Ideal candidate is a current college student with a focus on one of the following: Management Information Systems, Marketing, Communications, or Web Design/Development
