Job Summary:


The Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance team and ensuring that all manufacturing equipment, systems, and facilities are operating safely, efficiently, and reliably. This role includes leading preventive and corrective maintenance programs, troubleshooting equipment issues, managing maintenance schedules, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, and excellent leadership skills.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance technicians and contractors across all shifts.
  • Schedule and oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on machinery, tools, and building systems.
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime and ensure rapid resolution.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance work performed using the company’s ERP system (NetSuite preferred) and/or CMMS.
  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures and protocols to improve equipment uptime and reliability.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Production departments to support new equipment installations and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local safety/environmental regulations.
  • Monitor spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement with the supply chain team.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate maintenance personnel to support skills development and team performance.
  • Lead root cause analysis efforts and implement corrective actions for recurring equipment issues.
  • Support facility and utility systems maintenance, including HVAC, compressed air, and electrical systems.



Requirements:

  • Associate’s or Technical degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical, Mechanical, or related field.
  • 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-based systems.
  • Proficient in maintenance software, CMMS, and ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
  • Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Available to work flexible hours, including weekends or nights if required.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.
