Works under the supervision of the Lead Catering Associate and promotes personalized care to patients. Education: Preferred courses taken in Nutrition. Licensure/Certification: Required Current Riverside County Food Handler’s Card or Serve Safe Certificate. Experience: Preferred restaurant or food service experience, experience with therapeutic diets. Reports To: Clinical Nutrition Manager/Assistant Director. Ages of Patients: Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric. Blood Borne Pathogens: Minimal/ No Potential. Skills, Knowledge, Abilities: Ability to follow instructions, read, write, speak and understand English. Essential Responsibilities include compliance with Code of Conduct, assisting patients in meal selection, ensuring meals meet physician prescribed diets, providing diet awareness information, preparing and delivering meals timely, following safety and hygiene standards, maintaining patient nutrition profiles, cleaning and sanitizing areas, maintaining stock levels, reporting equipment problems and patient complaints, attending training, and performing other duties as assigned.
