Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Leader to join our team!
In this role, you will lead and coordinate all on-site project activities, serving as the primary point of contact for the client while ensuring work is executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contract requirements.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Lead all on-site activities for small projects or assigned subtasks of larger projects under the direction of the Project Manager
  • Serve as the primary client point of contact for all site-related activities within assigned areas of responsibility
  • Direct and coordinate subcontractor activities in accordance with project scope, schedule, specifications, and client procedures
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to establish and monitor project schedules, budgets, and staffing requirements
  • Develop and implement project documents, processes, and procedures to support quality control and final deliverables
  • Anticipate staffing needs, assist with personnel selection, and assign resources to meet project requirements
  • Establish, communicate, and enforce site-specific safety plans and promote a strong safety culture on the job site
  • Ensure compliance with site security requirements and post all required legal notices
  • Chair weekly job meetings and provide regular progress updates, including reports on risks, issues, and corrective actions
  • Prepare and submit client reports and respond to client concerns and expectations
  • Assist with pricing, negotiating, documenting, and executing changes in project scope
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs and progress reports

What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical or construction-related field (or equivalent) and typically 10+ years' related work experience is required with at least 3 years in a leadership role at a field site.
  • Proven ability to perform in a leadership role on active project sites
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid understanding of industry practices, regulations, and safety standards
  • Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Demonstrated experience supporting schedule, budget, and quality objectives

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
  • Experience providing technical guidance to site personnel and subcontractors
  • Ability to proactively identify project risks and implement corrective actions
  • Familiarity with project controls, reporting, and change management processes
  • Prior experience supporting government or regulated projects
  • Enrollment in, or pursuit of, project management certification (preferred)

Security Clearance Requirement:
An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.

Salary Range: $100,900.00 - $176,600.00
